Job Summary
Coordinate operational activities as the primary Hong Kong liaison between local TechOps, clients, and global Sales, Research, and Asset Management teams. Ensure all IT teams maintain TechOps standards and foster a DevOps mindset for automation and efficiency. Work with developers to onboard applications into production environments, including research tools and investment systems, while managing container image repositories and CI/CD pipelines. Coach developers to improve logging, performance metrics, and error diagnostics. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5–8 years of application support experience, and skills in Postgres, Oracle, Unix scripting, Docker, and ETL tools. This role supports CITIC CLSA's cross-border capital flow initiatives across 13 countries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in IT, Computer Science and any related discipline
- 5 – 8 years experience in application support
- preferably in banking /FI
- Database skills: Postgres, Oracle
- Strong Unix scripting for automation and operational support
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker)
- OS knowledge: Windows 10/7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with Kettle Pentaho for ETL and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana stack (good to have)
