Job Summary

Lead demand, supply, inventory, and replenishment planning activities for complex product groups, customer channels, and business segments. Evaluate demand patterns, forecast performance, and supply constraints to develop recommendations that balance service levels, inventory investment, and cost. Resolve escalated planning issues, conduct root-cause analysis for forecast misses, and prepare scenario analyses for leadership review. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Procurement to align planning assumptions and support cross-functional decision-making. Monitor planning KPIs including forecast accuracy and inventory turnover, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain responsiveness and service levels.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • 6–8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory planning, production planning, replenishment, sales operations, logistics, or a related supply chain function
  • Advanced experience managing inventory, replenishment, production planning, forecasting, supply planning, or related planning processes
  • Advanced understanding of forecasting methods, inventory principles, service level management, planning parameters, S&OP processes, and the financial and operational impacts of planning decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience using SAP S/4HANA, SAP planning modules, demand planning systems, inventory planning tools, or similar ERP/planning systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data, identify trends, diagnose root causes, interpret planning exceptions, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Ability to evaluate service, inventory, cost, capacity, working capital, and operational trade-offs when developing planning recommendations
  • Ability to prepare clear business updates, planning summaries, scenario analyses, and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain planning assumptions, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently on complex planning issues, manage competing priorities, and escalate decisions requiring leadership alignment
  • Ability to provide informal guidance to less experienced planners without direct people leadership responsibility
  • Limited or occasional travel
  • Onsite work type

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • CPIM, CSCP, or similar supply chain, inventory, or forecasting certification
  • Internal experience with Community Coffee
