Job Summary
Lead procurement and planning for the business unit, ensuring accurate stock positions, OTD targets, and inventory levels. Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts to drive cost savings and mitigate risks. Build strong supplier relationships, implement performance measurement systems, and oversee cross-functional teams to optimize processes and reduce lead times. Identify supply chain risks, adopt digital tools, and prepare regular reports to senior management. Collaborate with operations, finance, and quality assurance to align sourcing with business objectives while advancing sustainability initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5+ years in supply chain management roles
- Experience in material planning
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and industry regulations
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in poly urethane or resin manufacturing
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience implementing digital procurement tools and technologies
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
