Job Summary
Collaborate with functional leaders to investigate problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions using root cause analysis and corrective actions. Lead Kaizen events to ensure timely solution implementation and develop Power BI tools to support management analysis of operations. Train and mentor junior team members on best practices, problem-solving techniques, and data systems while maintaining established policies and procedures for consistency. Analyze data to identify adverse trends, recommend corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge and understanding of operations in an electronics design and manufacturing organization
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and team skills
- Proficient computer skills to develop Power BI analysis tools
- Knowledge of standard business application software (e.g., Word, Excel)
- BA or BS degree preferred or minimum of 3 years' experience
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- Strong Lean experience
- Familiarity with major business application programs such as Sherpa and/or Oracle
- Experience in a leadership or significant role in a major project
