Job Summary
Lead HV electrical system quality for Scout Motors as Sr Supplier Quality Engineer, Software Electrical Integration. Design, develop, and maintain HV wire harness validation processes; oversee supplier manufacturing development and launch readiness using APQP and VDA. Conduct process and product audits to ensure suppliers meet industrialization and performance expectations; facilitate technical requirement understanding between Suppliers and Scout’s Purchasing, Quality, and Design teams. Lead technical strategies and project teams to resolve complex quality issues as a Task Force Leader; drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and manufacturability via Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Responsible for proactive/reactive containment at suppliers, change management planning for product architecture requests, and Supplier PPA activities per VDA 2. Support NCR resolution. Role based in Columbia, SC with 4-5 days per week in the office and travel (domestic and international) approximately 40-70% of the time. Requires Associate's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred), HV/wiring experience, and strong quality tools knowledge.
