Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Lead supplier quality execution across NPI phases (Proto, EVT, DVT) and drive QCCL establishment and readiness for all assigned NPI programs. Own FAI planning and execution readiness for NPI builds, manage NPI risk assessments and supplier readiness for new designs, processes, materials, and technologies. Partner with NPI QPM to align with program milestones and phase gates, ensure 100% QCCL review/mitigation before first NPI build, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related NPI issues. Maintain PFMEA, control plans, and process capability evaluations; drive proactive supplier prevention and continuous improvement; require strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent certification preferred
- 4 - 6+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, NPI Quality, or Manufacturing Quality
- Experience supporting complex, high-reliability products in semiconductor equipment, industrial, medical devices, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, APQP, PPAP, and FAI processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority
Desired Qualifications

- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent
- 4 - 6 + years of experience in Supplier Quality, NPI Quality, or Manufacturing Quality
- Experience with PFMEA, control plans, APQP, PPAP, and FAI
