Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate activities of field employees, subcontractors, and material vendors to expedite the project schedule. Maintain daily detailed progress reporting, including daily reports with work progress photos, payroll, equipment time, and field reports. Manage the permit and inspection process to ensure timely execution and correct any deviations. Assemble site-specific safety plans and hold trade partners accountable for enforcing training and plans. Provide input to the Project Manager on jobsite issues and confer with the Operations Manager to ensure production. Manage all daily, weekly, and monthly safety reporting while reading project documents, drawings, and specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess the ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, subcontracts, and the owner agreement terms and conditions specific to your role.
- Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: MS Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4-hour periods of time.
- Must possess the ability to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings.
- Must possess the ability to understand project scheduling and cost control.
- Must demonstrate good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies on project plans.
