Sr. Subcontract Administrator - Aerospace

Job Summary
Administer the full lifecycle of complex indirect subcontracts, from solicitation through closeout, with specialized focus on large component procurement including cryogenic tanks and major fabricated hardware. Develop, issue, and evaluate Requests for Proposal and conduct comprehensive cost/price analyses to ensure terms align with prime contract flow-down requirements. Negotiate, establish, and administer long-term agreements and Master Service Agreements, defining pricing structures and performance frameworks for multi-year supplier relationships. Draft and review subcontract terms to manage risk while partnering with Legal to resolve complex conditions. Monitor milestone-based statements of work, establishing deliverables and managing acceptance and payment authorization. Build strategic relationships with key subcontractors, resolve performance concerns and disputes, and maintain accurate documentation to support audits and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience
- 5+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience
- Experience administering complex subcontracts and long-term agreements
- Demonstrated experience with terms and conditions negotiation and management
- Familiarity with milestone-based statements of work and performance-based payment structures
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience procuring large components or major structures, such as cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, or large fabricated assemblies
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Master Service Agreements and long-term supply agreements
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and procurement compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR/EAR)
- Professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM, NCMA CFCM/CPCM, or equivalent)
