Job Summary
Sr. Structural Engineer responsible for overall development of BV services for structure design and design review of industrial structures, storage tank structures, industrial sheds, conveyor system structures, pipe racks, light masts and respective civil foundations. Lead design reviews and assessments, prepare BOQ/BOM and fabrication drawings, develop methodologies for structural design review, oversee independent design/review, mentor staff, assist in pricing and client deliverables, produce initial and detailed engineering drawings in STAAD and perform FEA, and collaborate across teams while traveling to sites as required. Must comply with BV QA and HSE policies and have ability to present to clients.
Required Qualifications
- B.E / B. Tech Civil or Industrial Engineering from a reputed institute
- minimum 10 years experience in design or design review of industrial structures
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Solidworks, AutoCAD, Staad Pro, SACS, Tekla
- Knowledge of BIM modeling techniques and software interoperability
- Experience with NDT for concrete and steel structures
- Experience in design review of cranes (EOT, ELL, Gantry) and offshore structures (added advantage)
