Sr Strategic Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary
Lead development and execution of advanced category management for glass/window product spend; create and manage RFx materials; analyze proposals and vendor capabilities; negotiate and award contracts; coach category specialists; partner with business units to implement sourcing strategies; drive supplier performance, savings, and value improvements; monitor spend analyses and market trends; ensure ethical procurement practices and alignment with corporate policies; travel up to 15-25% to support cross-functional teams and supplier engagements; requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 10+ years in sourcing with strong negotiation and leadership capabilities; MBA a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred)
- MBA a plus
- 10+ years of supply chain experience
- 8+ years in strategic sourcing or category management
- Experience with category management in Glass and/or PVC Extrusions preferred
- Proven skills in negotiation, contracting, and implementing sourcing best practices
- Superior communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to lead a team and influence vendors
- Certifications preferred (CPSM, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma)
- Light travel 15-25%
