Job Summary

Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for materials supporting dental product development and manufacturing. Lead supplier selection, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and cost analysis to drive savings and improve quality. Prepare and execute RFPs, reverse auctions, and other sourcing events while managing complex supplier relationships. Monitor supplier performance, identify supply risks, and lead business reviews and issue resolutions. Partner with Quality and Regulatory Affairs on audits and change control. Champion procurement transformation through AI-enabled tools, automation, and advanced analytics. Mentor colleagues and influence cross-functional decisions without formal authority. Travel up to 10% to local company and supplier locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience OR High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
  • Supporting NPI initiatives
  • Working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, preferably FDA regulated
  • Experience leading procurement or supply-chain transformation initiatives, including the adoption of AI, automation, advanced analytics, or other emerging technologies
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead initiatives without formal authority
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating complex agreements and building productive, long-term supplier relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including cost modeling, total cost of ownership analysis, and supplier performance measurement
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with ERP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels
  • Travel up to 10%, primarily to local company and supplier locations

Desired Qualifications

  • ASCM/APICS certification, specifically in Transformation for Supply Chain
  • Oracle experience
