Job Summary
Sr. Strategic Partnerships Manager at Updater responsible for owning and scaling a portfolio of high-impact partners across telecommunications, home services, and utilities. Drive end-to-end partnership execution, manage API integrations and partner journeys within the Updater platform, monitor and present KPI performance, and identify opportunities to optimize partner outcomes and monetization. Communicate data-driven insights to mid-level and senior stakeholders, coordinate cross-functionally on contract amendments, compliance, and regulatory requirements, and lead initiatives to improve partner performance through testing and optimized compensation structures. Strong emphasis on analytical storytelling, operational discipline, and ownership across multi-partner programs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in account management, partnerships, or business operations including direct experience with large national or regional companies in telecommunications, home service providers and/or utility companies
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools to track performance trends and build sales forecasts (e.g. Looker or similar BI tools)
- Detail Orientation: Strong ability to manage complex checklists and technical requirements for digital integrations
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting data-driven insights to mid-level and senior stakeholders
- Project Management: Proven ability to effectively manage multiple partners and internal cross-functional projects simultaneously
- Ownership & Execution: Demonstrates a strong ownership mindset with a bias toward action—proactively identifying opportunities, taking initiative, and driving results end-to-end
