Job Summary
Strategic Account Manager role focused on managing a portfolio of major customer accounts across the Chicagoland and Indiana region for Renesas. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue growth, creating strategic account plans, understanding customer strategy and operations within market trends, building and maintaining relationships with customer engineering, purchasing, and management stakeholders, leading global cross-functional teams, supporting worldwide manufacturing sites, providing demand forecasts, and facilitating resolution of supply issues. Requires 5+ years in customer relationship management in a global, customer-facing capacity and experience with high-performance analog ICs, power products, SoCs, MCUs, or MPUs. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred. Travel internationally may be required; strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- Experience with high-performance analog ICs, power products, SoCs, MCUs, or MPUs
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing customer relationships in a global customer-facing role
- Excellent customer interaction and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated business decision-making skills
- Self-directed and analytical with attention to detail
