Job Summary
Apply exceptionally broad expertise in cyber threat intelligence, including advanced persistent threats, critical infrastructure analysis, and intelligence fusion. Lead the development of strategic objectives and complex analytical models to predict future threat trends and enhance the organization's security posture. Cultivate formal networks with internal leadership, legal, and external partners to drive intelligence sharing and collaboration. Convey nuanced threat intelligence findings through strategic reports and executive briefings to diverse stakeholders. Mentor other analysts and provide authoritative guidance on critical cyber topics while exercising independent judgment on novel challenges. Anticipate emerging threats and develop innovative methodologies to address them.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus in cyber threat intelligence or closely related fields
- Deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including various threat actors, attack vectors, and emerging threats
- Extensive experience in creating and leveraging formal networks across diverse groups
- Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership and contribute to broader organizational projects
- Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing malware, network traffic, and vulnerabilities to extract techniques and indicators of compromise
- Proven experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and other relevant security tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Experience mentoring and providing expert guidance to other analysts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and data analysis tools
- Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to be on call to provide strategic support and guidance during critical incidents and non-traditional hours
- Fully Remote
