Job Summary
We are looking for a Sr. Staff Technical Marketing Analyst with expert knowledge in hard disk drive (HDD) technology and manufacturing. You will develop and maintain quantitative models, create forecasts, and analyze cost structures. Successful candidates must have strong analytical skills and the ability to influence strategic decisions across business and technical teams. Essential qualifications include extensive experience in technical modeling and systems analysis, deep understanding of HDD architecture, and the ability to work with incomplete data. Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders, are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in roles involving technical modeling, systems analysis, or technology strategy.
- Deep understanding of HDD architecture, physics, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience building and maintaining structured models.
- Strong understanding of the HDD competitive marketplace.
- Ability to work effectively with ambiguous requirements and incomplete data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders or external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across a variety of technical and business organizations.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working directly in storage industry/devices, hardware platforms, infrastructure systems, or large-scale technology deployments.
- Familiarity with storage market system total cost of ownership analysis
