Job Summary
Coordinate production follow of systems through their life cycle to ensure sell-off and delivery by managing System Acceptance Testing and lab asset configurations. Lead horizontal integration across engineering disciplines and IPTs, decomposing program requirements into test plans while developing verification reports and test documentation. Serve as liaison between union technicians, suppliers, and program leadership to manage risk databases and ensure technical execution of the statement of work. Report to Program Manager/Director on cost, schedule, and technical status using earned value management principles. Travel 10% of the time to supplier sites and work onsite in Baltimore, MD within a fast-paced environment requiring active Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 14 years of experience
- Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience
- PhD with 10 years of experience in a STEM discipline
- Additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Experience with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) programs
- Experience with mode integration
- Experience with system acceptance testing
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working with personnel from different technical disciplines
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated experience tracking milestones and executing tasks in accordance with approved program schedules
- Experience generating technical documents
- Experience working with various software/data processing tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and/or other various programming languages
- Understanding of common Test Engineering test methodologies and practices
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD
Desired Qualifications
- Very strong knowledge of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) and production system hardware follow and integration
- Understanding of requirements
- Strong mechanical background
- Strong earned value management (EVM) experience
- Must have relevant flight and laboratory test experience
- Demonstrated experience (2 years +) serving as a Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager technical, project or program lead, IPT lead, or CAM responsible for delivering program tasks, milestones, or contract deliverables
- 2 years' experience supporting the development, integration, testing, or production of sensor systems radar or related mission systems
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating activities across dispersed teams
- Experience with EP/EMI and Environmental qualification testing
