Job Summary
Sr. Staff Power Conversion Technologist with a focus on high performance power delivery, spanning from rack-level distribution to ASIC voltage regulation. Drive architectural direction, technology roadmaps, and system-level innovation; engage with top customers to translate challenges into technical strategy; model and analyze power converters and PDN architectures; evaluate manufacturing flows for 3D heterogeneous power packaging; develop long-term roadmaps across packaging, manufacturing processes, and IP development; lead feasibility studies, drive early prototyping with cross-functional teams, and define metrics of merit to articulate technical value. Strong expertise in magnetic design, passive components, power device interactions, thermal design, and broad system-level implementation constraints. Must have deep knowledge in power electronics and a broad technical range across the pillars of advanced power engineering, plus execution-focused communication at executive levels. Required Qualifications
- MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Directly relevant experience in power electronics, power conversion, PDN design, or system architecture
- Proficiency with key industry standard tools: Ansys Q3D, Si-Wave, Ansys Icepak or Siemens Flotherm, Ansys Maxwell, Simplis/Simetrix, Cadence Allegro or Altium
