Job Summary
Senior Staff Software Engineer in Development Infrastructure at LinkedIn, based in Bellevue, WA with hybrid work—part home, part office—on select days. Build and own the design, development, testing, deployment, and craft of the team’s infrastructure to enable all LinkedIn developers to build services productively with high quality and minimal friction. Lead, mentor, and grow a team; collaborate across engineering to define strategy and roadmaps; drive operational excellence, best practices, and developer velocity. Strong focus on distributed systems, developer infrastructure, CI/CD, scalable reliability, and industry collaboration/open-source contributions.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience
- 7+ years of programming experience in Java, C++, C# or similar programming languages
- 7+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications
- 3+ years of experience building developer infrastructure and services, including development and code collaboration environments, CI/CD platforms, and measuring software development productivity and quality
