Sr. Staff Software Development Engineer in Test, CASB Inline

Job Summary
Sr. Staff SDET for inline CASB product responsible for real-time deep traffic inspection, DLP and threat mitigation at line rate. You will design and build scalable test automation and CI/CD workflows, apply AI-assisted testing techniques, review product designs for testability, drive root-cause analysis with engineering teams, and mentor a world-class engineering team. The candidate will work on data-plane architectures, packet processing pipelines, and network protocols (e.g., HTTP), contribute to distributed systems design, and ensure reliability and efficiency of cloud services. The role requires extensive cloud-security testing experience, proficiency with Python and modern testing tools, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- BSCS or equivalent required
- MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
- 14+ years designing and developing automated test frameworks for scalable, enterprise-grade cloud services (microservices architecture)
- Programming Mastery: Deep expertise in Python
- AI-Driven Development: Championing AI-assisted testing workflows
- Network Security: Experience with Firewalls, WAF, IDP/IPS, L7 policies, DDoS, HTTP proxies
- Core Protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS/SSL decryption, DNS, WebSockets, IPsec, WireGuard
- Cloud & Messaging: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, NATS
- Testing Methodologies: Solution, Load, Stress, Longevity testing in L7 Security context
- Automation Frameworks: REST API automation and UI tools like Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright MCP
- Education: BSCS or equivalent; MSCS strongly preferred
