Job Summary
Deliver a unified API and developer platform focused on standardization, governance, and a seamless developer experience. Lead the creation of a scalable distributed API platform that is highly available, observable, and operable. Collaborate with product managers on external-facing APIs and roadmaps. Drive API framework development, tooling, and integration methodologies across Zscaler’s product portfolio.Qualifications emphasize API design, SDK development, message-broker ecosystems, and multi-language proficiency. Focus areas include scalable architecture, API governance, and building an observability-driven, cloud-first API platform across a large user base.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in API architecture, design, and development
- Proven experience in creating SDKs and designing APIs
- Deep knowledge of API design standards, best practices, and API-first design principles
- Strong background in message brokers, caches, queues, and pub/sub concepts
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Java, C++, Rust, or JavaScript
