Sr. Staff Reservoir Engineer

Job Summary
Generate and execute a development plan to maximize the value of PR's Delaware Basin Assets. Provide reservoir engineering support and guidance on multidisciplinary field/well studies, focusing on economic analysis supported by rate transient, decline curve, material balance, and volumetrics. Analyze lateral and vertical well spacing to determine optimal spacing, while collaborating to analyze completion and production practices that optimize value across acreage. Monitor production performance to generate accurate forecasts for all wells and perform technical analysis of potential acquisitions, divestitures, and trades to execute the A&D strategy. Work with Corporate Planning and Finance teams to maintain long-term budget forecasts and update type curves, PDP, and expense forecasts. Requires 7+ years of oil and gas experience with 4+ years in reservoir engineering, specifically in unconventional Permian Basin plays.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering
- 7+ years of oil and gas engineering experience
- 4+ years of reservoir engineering experience
- Must have relevant reservoir engineering experience with unconventional resource plays in the Permian Basin
- Must be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Some operations experience (production, completions, drilling, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Whitson (RTA) and AI platforms such as Claude
- Experience in NM Delaware Basin on an asset team as a reservoir engineer
