Job Summary
Drive the highest quality of architecture and design for the Rocket Growth 2P marketplace supply chain systems. Draw roadmaps and vision for scalable, robust growth while collaborating with engineering teams to make the platform open and extensible. Align with stakeholders and lead engineers on mission critical projects, decomposing complex problems into straightforward solutions. Deep-dive into critical system issues and leverage internal and industry best practices in design. Work alongside Product to shape initiatives and influence the technical north star for all supply chain domain projects. This role requires deep business acumen and active partnership with partners to unlock innovation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Minimum 12 years of experience working on software design and development in Java, Python
- Proven track record of designing and building large-scale distributed systems in the Supply Chain space
- Large system architecture design and development experience
- Experience with cloud computing with AWS
- Experience of developing container-based testing environment
- Experience with Java / IntelliJ / Spring environment
Desired Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Supply Chain Domain
- Deep expertise in AWS ecosystem (compute, storage, distributed services)
- Mentor & junior engineers and influence team architecture
- Excellent Communication Skills
