Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end growth stack modernization by defining architectural vision for data ingestion, activation, and measurement across five pods. Lead major cross-pod initiatives including the MWeb Next.js migration and experimentation platform convergence, while establishing observability standards and standardized platform patterns. Build strong partnerships with Product, Marketing, and Data Science to turn growth goals and AI opportunities into scalable architecture and faster experimentation. Drive the initial high-impact RFC and develop Staff engineers into pod-level technical leaders. This Senior Staff Engineer role focuses on multiplying impact across the neighborhood through hands-on architecture and strategic roadmap bets.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience as a senior IC owning architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams in growth, marketing, or consumer product environments
- Deep experience with modern web stacks such as React and Next.js
- Deep experience with experimentation platforms such as Split.io, Statsig, or Optimizely
- Deep experience with event-driven data systems
- Strong track record building reliable data and activation platforms, including event taxonomies, data contracts, observability, and downstream data quality
- Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives, resolve architectural disagreements, and drive adoption of shared patterns
- Strong product partnership skills with experience shaping growth bets, experimentation strategies, and success metrics
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading major modernization efforts such as framework migrations, experimentation platform consolidation, or large-scale data migrations
- Experience with backend-for-frontend patterns and workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal
- Experience standardizing AI-augmented engineering workflows at team or org scale
- Prior experience operating at Senior Staff or Principal scope in a high-growth environment
- Familiarity with healthcare, B2B2C, or other regulated environments
