Job Summary
Senior Staff Analytics Engineer at Flex, leading data models and analytics solutions to empower stakeholders with scalable data products. Responsibilities include leading data model development, collecting business requirements, defining analytics outcomes, setting data standards, and influencing data tooling and processes. Requires 6+ years of analytics engineering experience, expert SQL, Snowflake, dbt, BI tools (Sigma/Tableau/Mode), strong analytics development practices, and fintech experience. Hybrid role with on-site 2-3 days/week in New York, San Francisco, or Salt Lake City; relocation assistance available for candidates outside NY/NJ. Salary range $200k-$240k. Located in NYC HQ with offices and distributed team across US, Australia, Canada, and South America.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years as an analytics engineer or equivalent
- Expert knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses
- Proficiency with dbt or similar data modeling tool
- Familiarity with BI tools (Sigma Computing, Tableau, Mode)
- Strong data modeling, version control, documentation, testing, and CI/CD practices
- Experience within the fintech space
- Hybrid role with on-site expectations in NYC/SF/Salt Lake City
