Job Summary
Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance to execute improvement projects and align targets for commodities such as bearings, heat treatment, and steel forging. Conduct process and technological audits, manage complaints, and support suppliers in meeting KPIs including ppm, complaint resolution, and SNCC. Execute supplier development activities, perform 8D problem solving, and assist with change management and purchasing support. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards while driving cost recovery and long-term quality optimization. Fluent in English and Chinese with at least five years of foundry experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in casting engineering or relevant field in mechanical engineering or metallurgy
- At least 5 years' working experience in foundry
- Knowledge of Bearing, or Heat Treatment, or Steel & Forging materials and processes technologies
- Commodity specific technology (operations and inspections) like Bearing, or Heat Treatment, or Steel & Forging
- Fluency in both English and Chinese as working language
- Eligibility to work in China
- 8D problem solving
- APQP quality planning
- VDA6.3 process audits
- FMEA product and process risk assessments
- Technical statistics
- IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 Basics
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with finish machining
- Experience with 3D CMM measurement
