Job Summary
Provide technical assistance and guidance to faculty and administrators on funding proposal development and preparation. Review grant applications for accuracy and access databases to verify regulatory compliance before establishing project accounts. Process non-financial post-award actions, coordinate project closeouts, and assist with budget revisions consistent with award amounts. Oversee audits, bank reconciliations, and subcontracting activity while submitting invoices and tracking timely payments. Monitor sponsored project accounts for spending variances, deficits, and closeout needs, and prepare updates for account reviews. Support Department of Medicine research administration across clinical trials, federal grants, and industry projects, ensuring timely study activation and compliant financial management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
