Job Summary
Conduct evaluations of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and voice functions to establish individualized treatment plans and discharge protocols. Deliver therapy interventions using established protocols, provide education and training to staff, and serve as a technical specialist on daily cases. Complete comprehensive clinical documentation within deadlines and communicate with physicians and other health professionals. Model and mentor staff on technical skills while meeting departmental in-service standards and participating in assigned special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' technical experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
