Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and voice functions while establishing individualized treatment plans. Implement therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and communicate discharge plans to physicians and other health professionals. Complete accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines and serve as a technical specialist on daily cases. Mentor staff on technical skills and participate in departmental special projects as assigned. Maintain attendance and presentation standards in alignment with hospital in-service requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
- Understanding of E-Verify contents
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' technical experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
