Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, voice, and auditory functions. Establish individualized treatment plans and implement therapy interventions using appropriate clinical protocols. Communicate care and discharge plans to physicians and other health professionals. Complete accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines and participate in special projects as assigned. Mentor staff on technical skills and serve as a technical specialist for daily cases. Maintain attendance, presentation, and coordination standards per department requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
- Understanding of E-Verify contents
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' technical experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
