Job Summary
Conduct clinical evaluations of speech, language, cognition, swallowing, voice, and auditory functions. Plan and implement individualized treatment protocols for patients while establishing discharge plans and communicating with physicians. Provide education and trainings to staff on technical skills, serving as a mentor and model for daily tasks. Complete comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines and address assessment areas requiring attention. Perform other job-related duties as assigned within the department.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
- Understanding of the contents of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' technical experience
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
