Job Summary
Sr. Speech Pathologist provides evaluation and treatment of communication disorders, conducts evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans, educates physicians and staff, serves as a technical specialist, mentors and trains staff, and ensures thorough documentation and coordination of care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Required
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred
