Sr Specialist - Vendor Relationship

Job Summary
Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors to foster collaborative partnerships, managing medium risk and high spend categories across Medical Operations, Business Operations, and HR. Collect data elements including service overviews, spend, contract renewals, and market events to provide a holistic view of vendor performance. Monitor invoice alignment to contracts, ensure service credits are received, and manage contract renewals and terminations in compliance with Sun Life Standards. Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with third-party providers while optimizing vendor services to reduce costs. This role reports to the Sr Manager, Global Procurement & Payment, within the Global Vendor Relationship team at Sun Life.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years + relevant experience in vendor management and/or procurement

- Clear, concise, and influential verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- University or college degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, IT, or a related field
