Sr. Specialist, Systems Engineer (Avionics)

Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer (Avionics) designs tests and integrates flight-deck technologies for multiple aircraft platforms; collaborates across hardware/software integration, develops subsystem requirements, performs requirement traceability, and writes subsystem specifications; hands-on testing and verification of avionics components; must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret and/or Top-Secret clearance; travel up to 10% and work on-site in Greenville, TX; strong communication and MS Office skills; knowledge of DOORS/Jira and systems engineering standards is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Systems or Software Engineering with six (6) years of experience OR Graduate Degree with four (4) years of experience OR ten (10) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- U.S. citizenship required
- Willing and able to travel up to 10%
- Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance (preferred)
- DOORS/Jira experience (preferred)
- Experience with systems hardening (preferred)
- Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (preferred)
- FAA Compliance and Certification experience (preferred)
