Job Summary
Lead raw materials purchasing activities, monitor supplier performance and pricing, and manage Vendor Managed Inventory to support production continuity. Develop relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address shortages, delays, and cost concerns while evaluating logistics options to improve efficiency. Manage escalated purchasing issues requiring cross-functional coordination and prepare regular reports to headquarters in South Korea regarding inventory conditions and key issues. Identify opportunities to enhance purchasing processes and cost efficiency, serving as a resource for team members on complex material planning matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, and supplier relationship management
- Ability to work on-site and maintain flexibility in work hours based on business needs and communication with global teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP, purchasing, or inventory-management systems
