Job Summary
Lead multiple engineering projects simultaneously for cost reductions and failure analysis through finite element analysis (FEA). Define and improve key performance metrics for the FEA domain while identifying opportunities to expand FEA support across various sites. Identify skill gaps within the FEA engineering team and work with managers to bridge them, providing technical guidance to other engineers. Simulate existing designs to optimize products and prepare/review technical documentation for design validation. Drive changes within the FEA domain by defining and improving processes, utilizing ANSYS and SolidWorks for modeling and solvers. Requires eight years of experience in FEA, including linear, non-linear, and modal analysis.
