Job Summary
Sr. Specialist Demand Planning supports demand forecasting and planning for the Import Shipments portfolio across a 3–6 month forward horizon, plans forecasts, stocks, and inbound containers, and collaborates with Finance, Commercial, and Operations to minimize demurrages and expedite clearance. Responsibilities include implementing DOH policy for diverse MENA markets, driving continuous process improvements, coordinating with country supply chain teams, reporting and dashboards via BI analytics, establishing standardized supply chain metrics, inventory management to optimize stock (DOH) and minimize shrinkage, and coordinating promotions planning, DC KPIs, and supplier discussions. The role requires 5+ years in Supply Chain Planning/Forecasting/Imports/DC Planning/Inventory Management and System implementations, with experience in retail groceries (ideally Ultra Fresh), strong analytical skills, advanced Excel usage, forecasting models, supplier scheduling, Incoterms, and effective cross-functional stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on experience in Supply Chain Planning, Forecasting, Import Shipments, DC Planning, Inventory Management & System implementations
- Experience in retail groceries, ideally with focus on Ultra Fresh
- Experience in forecasting models and suppliers scheduling
- Experience in Imports Shipments, Incoterms
- Detail-oriented, structured, and prioritized workflow
- Strong stakeholder management and self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, hands-on with several tools
- Proficiency in Excel and BI analytics for reporting
