Job Summary
Senior Specialist, Compensation provides advisory support on compensation matters, assists with job documentation and job evaluations, leads compensation-related projects, conducts research on best practices, and delivers training on compensation topics. Responsible for analyzing salary data, ensuring proper classification under FLSA and EEO, performing desk audits as needed, and providing guidance to senior leadership and HR business partners on compensation programs. Collaborates with managers, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams to align compensation initiatives with organizational strategy, documents job descriptions, and supports equity and compliance efforts. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of compensation-related experience; preferred Master’s degree and SHRM certifications are listed as desirable. English language proficiency and strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience related to compensation management, job documentation, job evaluation, and performance management
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Management, Economics, Business Administration, or similar field from an accredited college or university
- Knowledge of compensation theories, methodologies, and best practices and relevant labor laws and regulations
- Experience with Compensation Tools & Technology, Compensation Strategy, Pay Equity Analysis, HRIS (Oracle, Workday, SAP, etc.), Job Architecture, Data Analytics, Merit and Bonus, and Performance Management as it relates to compensation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
