Job Summary
The Sr. Specialist, Application Development will develop and maintain software applications within the auto lending/consumer finance originations domain, use AI-assisted coding tools to improve code quality and delivery, navigate a complex enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders, and assist in configuring and administering company systems and applications. Responsibilities include resolving basic application issues, escalating complex bugs, analyzing and deploying updates, and contributing to IT policies and procedures, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and adhering to change-management processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education
- 3+ Years Information Technology, Technical Application Development, or similar experience
- 3+ Years Experience providing customer support for IT systems or applications
- 3+ Years Experience writing technical documentation for both technical and nontechnical audiences
- 3+ Years Experience with C# and .NET (Core and/or Framework)
- 3+ Years Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks
- 3+ Years Experience with SQL Server and relational database design
- 3+ Years Experience building and consuming RESTful Web APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate software delivery
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and integrating AI/ML capabilities into development workflows
