Job Summary
Senior networking leader (Sr. Solutions Architect) at SHI Labs leading customer engagements, architecture design, and hands-on lab execution. Responsible for advising executive stakeholders, delivering solution demonstrations, translating business and security requirements into use cases and test plans, and driving POC/POV testing across multiple network solutions. Role encompasses pre-sales and post-sales leadership, collaboration with account teams, vendor evaluation, and development of reference architectures and validation reports. Requires 8+ years in network engineering, architecture, or consulting, with strong expertise across Secure Access & Network Security (ZTNA, SASE, VDI, NGFW, segmentation, SD-WAN), WAN/LAN design (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS), Cloud/virtualization (VPCs, VPNs), and automation (Python, Terraform, Ansible). Demonstrated ability to lead multi-vendor engagements, mentor engineers, and influence enterprise network strategy. Competitive annual pay range $175k-$240k plus bonus; benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and more.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, or consulting roles
- Experience in a VAR, consulting firm, or systems integrator strongly preferred
- Proven success operating in a hybrid pre-sales/post-sales capacity
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, multi-vendor network engagements
- History of driving measurable outcomes, including significant service revenue generation
- Experience mentoring teams and shaping national or enterprise-level practices
- Experience working with leading networking and infrastructure vendors such as Arista, Aruba/HPE, BlueCat, Cisco/Meraki, Cradlepoint, Dell, Extreme, Fortinet, Juniper/HPE, LogicMonitor, Netgear, Ruckus, SolarWinds
- Equally comfortable in executive whiteboard sessions and hands-on lab environments
- Thrives in complex, ambiguous environments and brings structure through engineering rigor
