Job Summary
Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for business and data requirements, ensuring developed processes align with client objectives. Oversee collection and analysis of data from ERP, PLM, and other sources to ensure accuracy, while supporting Project Management teams with capability listings and effort estimates. Lead the technical design documentation process, reviewing Solution Architects and Consultants on functional designs, data requirements, and complex dataset construction. Manage tool configuration in the o9 platform to solve deep operations problems and institute performance monitoring systems. Collaborate with internal R&D to resolve solution gaps, deliver Super User and End User training, and mentor Solution Architects and Junior Analysts. Assess project performance, document lessons learned, and ensure the solutions team adheres to o9 methodologies and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ Years implementing supply chain planning solutions or working in the supply chain/ logistics organization
- Experience presenting on complex topics in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner
- Experience in planning systems, and exposure to ERP tools
- Firsthand experience leading a team through the full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution Implementation including business requirement gathering, solution design & development, UAT/SIT, go- live/cutover and value realization
- Experience using agile methodology to deliver large scale enterprise implementations
- Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience or Bachelor Degree with 8 years' experience required
- Degrees in the following fields: Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration with concentrated coursework and supply chain or related fields with a concentration in operations or analytics
- Deep knowledge of best practices in supply chain planning & optimization is required
- Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts, processes, organization and KPIs is required
- Proven ability to collaborate with and drive cross-functional, interdepartmental teams and technical resources to meet goals is required
- Strong analytical techniques, data mining knowledge and proficiency in handling and processing large amounts of data is required
- Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is required
- Ability to communicate mathematical, technical or software usage concepts to audiences with limited prior mathematics, technical or software background is required
- Ability to work in teams, distributed across locations and time zones and at executive and junior levels in a corporate hierarchy required
Desired Qualifications
- Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R, SAS, CPLEX or similar is preferred
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and software (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), document processing (Microsoft Word, Google Docs), presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint) is preferred
- Strong verbal, written, presentation and demonstration / training skills are preferred
