Sr. Software Engineering Manager, Salesforce

Job Summary

Lead a team of engineers and administrators to deliver Salesforce solutions across Marketing, Commerce, Experience, Data, and Health Clouds. Provide leadership and strategy for platform modernization while partnering with internal teams to optimize business processes from concept to implementation. Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance suites of Salesforce technologies, adhering to best practices in coding and design. Manage day-to-day operations including change/release management, DevOps, CI/CD, and production incident resolution. Drive agile development using Jira, mentor team members, and establish key metrics to measure success. Act as a trusted advisor to plan future business capabilities and ensure compliance with healthcare information security standards like HIPAA.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience leading teams and/or managing direct reports
  • Minimum of 10 years as a Salesforce leader who has managed a team of Salesforce administrators and developers
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with MuleSoft or similar integration platform
  • Strong expertise in at least two (2) of the following clouds: Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, and Data Cloud
  • Strong background in the execution of DevOps methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery
  • Knowledge of SaaS / PaaS / IaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, including product/service evaluation, contract negotiations, and on-going relationship management
  • History of utilizing a highly analytical skill set to synthesize complex and diverse information
  • Experienced in successful group presentations and conducting meetings, able to clearly articulate verbally
  • Track record of identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner and gathering and analyzing information skillfully

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with HIPAA/HITECH regulations and guidelines for securing ePHI data
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry
