Job Summary
Lead engineering teams to deliver strategic goals for Envysion's cloud-based video security and business analytics solutions. Drive planning and execution of appliance releases while continuously improving release processes, tools, and methodologies. Leverage deep technical expertise to guide architecture for appliance software and internal tooling, collaborating across engineering, product, customer success, sales, and support to align schedules. Proactively monitor health and performance of connected devices deployed to customers, identifying trends and addressing issues promptly. Manage cross-border hybrid/remote teams with asynchronous workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years of leading/people management experience
- Proven experience as a Team Lead, Engineering Manager, Release Manager, or similar role
- Experience working on Cloud managed Video solutions
- 8+ years prior hands-on experience developing with technologies such as Relational Databases, JavaScript, C++, and React
- Understanding of build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management
- Experience with cloud technologies (particularly AWS)
- Experience with Restful APIs
- Familiarity with video streaming such as HLS and related technologies
- Working understanding of AI inference engines (e.g YOLO, OpenCV)
- Experience leveraging AI tools
- Strong understanding of how to identify and implement AI-driven opportunities within the software development lifecycle and workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention measures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to articulate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences
