Sr. Software Engineer

Job Summary
Design complex, scalable software features across various architectures including microservices, DDD/CQRS, and event-driven systems. Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and peers to translate requirements into technical specifications. Analyze technical challenges, identify system bottlenecks, and author documentation to optimize large-scale transactional processing. Facilitate code reviews, advocate for rigorous testing methodologies, and leverage AI tools as an integral part of your daily workflow to enhance productivity. This role requires at least 4-6 years of relevant software engineering experience and the ability to work additional or irregular hours. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Based in an onsite environment, the position aligns with WellSky's mission to power better outcomes and lower costs for stakeholders across the health and community care continuum.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 4-6 years of relevant software engineering experience
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
- Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Applicants for U.S.-based positions with WellSky must be legally authorized to work in the United States
