Job Summary
Sr. Software Engineer - UI/React responsible for designing front-end architecture and development using React, React Native, and TypeScript; collaborating with backend teams (Java, Spring Boot) to design clean APIs and data flows; bridging UI/UX design with backend engineering; mentoring front-end and full-stack engineers; advocating for frontend excellence including performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, and design system consistency; contributing to full-stack architecture discussions; supporting DevOps and CI/CD best practices; staying current with emerging web and mobile technologies and identifying opportunities for adoption.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or related field
- 7+ years of professional experience in front-end engineering (React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript)
- backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot or similar)
- Strong understanding of full-stack development and backend systems (Java, REST APIs, databases)
- Experience building scalable, responsive, high-performance UI components using ReactJS (React Native experience highly preferred)
- Familiarity with backend technologies (Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, AWS) and architectural best practices
- Deep expertise in UI architecture, responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization
- Experience with design systems and component libraries (Material UI, Ant Design)
- Hands-on experience with mobile development using React Native for iOS and Android (PWAs a plus)
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture best practices, especially AWS
