Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for architecture, development, integration, and reliability of enterprise applications connecting eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, and internal tools. Focus on designing and supporting integrations between OroCommerce and IFS ERP using Boomi or similar platforms, developing RESTful APIs, data synchronization, and ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable software across front-end and back-end components. Provides technical guidance, mentors junior engineers, reviews designs and code, and participates in SDLC activities. Requires strong PHP (Symfony) and Oracle PL/SQL expertise, enterprise integration experience, and familiarity with JavaScript/HTML/CSS, REST APIs, OAuth, and CI/CD. Will collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to monitoring, performance improvements, and production support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of software engineering experience across front-end and back-end development
- Experience with APIs, system integrations, and middleware platforms (Boomi preferred)
- Experience with enterprise integration platforms
- Experience with PHP (Symfony preferred) and Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (OroCommerce) and ERP integrations (IFS)
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring software engineers preferred
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
