Job Summary
Develop wireless solutions and implement new feature development for the Apollo Blue family. Perform code review, optimization, refactoring, bug hunting, and fixing. Produce unit, functional, integration, and interoperability tests, including automation. Assist FAE team in customer development issue support. Work with Product Planning and validation teams to triage issues and communicate status. Scoping software development work, delegating tasks, and identifying technical gaps. Write technical documents, architecture diagrams, and API descriptions. Requires 5+ years with 802.15.4, OpenThread, and Zephyr.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience with 802.15.4 technology, including Zigbee or Thread software debugging experience with sniffer tools and protocol analyzers
- Familiar with engineering best practices: git version control, unit-tests, and continuous integration
- Fluent in low-level software debugging skills using GDB, emulators, JTAG, and more
- Expert knowledge of performance and power optimization
- Experience with Zephyr
- Peripheral protocols: I2C, I2S, MSPI, UART, PDM, TDM, etc
- Strong communication skills; excellent technical communication with peers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bluetooth/BLE or RF tunning/calibration are a plus
