Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and the Microsoft .NET platform, including Blazor web apps, RESTful APIs, and microservices. Build data access solutions with MongoDB and SQL Server while implementing asynchronous messaging via Kafka. Participate in solution architecture, code reviews, and the creation of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and mentor junior engineers. Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve design, debugging, and documentation while evaluating emerging technologies for business value. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders within Agile delivery teams to support RLI's digital transformation and secure software development practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 8–10 years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET
- Experience developing modern web applications using Blazor Razor HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript
- Experience working with MongoDB
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
- Experience working with Kafka
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience using Git for source control
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools to accelerate coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that improve software delivery and engineering efficiency
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, or AI orchestration frameworks
- Ability to understand and utilize a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures
- Ability to use software to develop and analyze IT data and applications

- Advanced experience with the design and development of various Web Technologies and Web Services
