Job Summary
Sr Software Engineer at Robert Bosch LLC in Plymouth, MI. Analyze General Motors PK Base SW and Diagnostics SW stack development using the ISO-14229 (UDS) protocol. Collaborate with Diagnostics team on Perfectly Keyless programs, software architecture and designs, and customer interactions. Manage AUTOSAR configurations in Vector Tools, Embedded C coding, and serve as Feature Owner for Diagnostics Application module. Responsible for implementation, testing, design, and requirement updates for the software update feature FOTA and CAN updates. Handle customer interactions and requirement clarifications for feature developments. Work on Diagnostics Application development (UDS protocol, AUTOSAR and Non-AUTOSAR). Provide vehicle testing and debugging support for offshore team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience as a Base Software Developer, Functional Software Developer or in a related automotive software environment
- Experience with AUTOSAR base software development
- Experience with software implementation per CCC v3 for Vehicle Access Systems
- Davinci configurator for configuring base software stack and Davinci developer tools
- Testing/industrial tools (DPS, OTA tester tool, GBFTT, CDA Vector CANoe, VehicleSpy) in vehicle testing
- Diagnostics application software development utilizing ISO-14229 (UDS) protocol
- Developing and troubleshooting OTA software update functionality via OTA or CAN tools
- Requirement Analysis/development in IBM DOORS (base software, flashing procedures, diagnostics for various automotive OEMs)
- SDLC with tools like Rhapsody, Vector Cast and Google Test, AEEE Pro, and SourceTree (GIT)
