Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS mobile applications using native (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java) and cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences while writing clean, maintainable code. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance to ensure security, quality, and responsiveness. Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and stay updated with industry trends. Work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment within the Digital Health Home R&D team, focusing on telehealth and remote patient monitoring platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and deploying mobile applications on iOS
- Proficiency in native development languages: Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android
- Experience with at least one cross-platform mobile framework (Flutter, React Native, etc.)
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with app store submission processes for both Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices
- Experience with Bluetooth peripheral integration
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for mobile apps
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledge in FDA and ISO design control requirements
