Sr. Software Engineer

The Software Lead is responsible for the successful development and maintenance of automotive embedded software products (ADAS ECU) from concept to production within project and company mandated targets. This role serves as the key technical interface for software engineering topics, requiring hands-on ADAS ECU software development and software project management. You will lead the software team, provide high‐level guidance, and ensure delivery to production. Responsibilities include: designing, implementing, testing, and debugging core or application-specific software; creating and maintaining the software timeplan with milestones and deliverables; managing day-to-day activities of the project software team; releasing software deliverables (Release Notes, Software Test Reports, First Article) to engineering and manufacturing; defining and documenting software architecture, making technical trade-offs, supporting system requirements negotiations, and reviewing engineering work products; driving continuous improvement in products and processes; providing leadership to team members and managing software risks; reporting status and executing contingency and mitigation plans. Qualifications include deep embedded software expertise (C/C++, MCU/ARM OS), experience with configuration management and project tracking, and preference for prior experience leading a global team and successful automotive software product launches.
